Welcome to Moores Creek Baptist Church

I would like to thank you for visiting the website of Moores Creek Baptist Church. We are a church filled with loving, caring people that seek to honor God in all that we do. We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and gave His life to redeem us from the bondage of sin. Through the instruction and power of His word we try to reject the sinful lusts of this world and to live a Christ focused, God honoring life in a world that is turning away from God.(Titus 2:11-14) As a fellowship of redeemed people we seek to glorify God through praise and worship of who He is and what He has done, and by the proclamation of His Word grow more Christlike in our personal lives, thereby strengthening the church, the body of Christ. 

We gather each week to worship God, to fellowship, to lift one another up, to pray for one another, and to grow in our knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that we may show the love of God to our community. I would like to personally invite you to join us as we come together corporately to worship God.

We have Sunday school each week, for all age groups, where we study God's word in a small group where you can have honest, open discussion and have a group of liked minded individuals to support you in your walk with Christ. Sunday school has been a great blessing in my life throughout the years and much of what I know about the Bible I learned through the fellowship of the Sunday school class. We gather for Sunday morning worship time together following Sunday school. We spend time singing praises to God and joining our hearts in prayer. We worship Him through the giving of His tithes and our offerings. We have a "kids corner" sermon for the children before they go to children's church and then we have the privilege of opening the Bible and through exposition of the Word walk with the congregation through it's pages line by line. It is wonderful to see God open our hearts and minds as we study the Word together. On Wednesday's we have a prayer time followed by a bible study where we seek to put into practice what we are learning in the word. We would love to have you join us for any or all of these services.
